As we begin to lament with final goodbyes for the month of May, let’s take some time to come together to celebrate the solstice that’s approaching in the upcoming month and focus ourselves on the new opportunities that await us in these longer days.

For the month of June, I’ve decided to ring in the month with a new addition to my blog — creating monthly moodboards + inquiring briefly into myself, looking at who and what I am in this moment, and focusing in on where I want to grow from here. There’s 28 brand new days waiting for me ahead and I’m wanting to challenge myself to see what I can do to make the most out of them, but I also want to document them here as a way to look back.

HEY, Universe, this is my attempt at really putting my hopes out there to manifest, so go on and do ya thang, baby girl.

June’s bitch of an older sister, May, put a lot on my plate and I think it’s safe to say that I’m eternally grateful to say adios, but I’m also thankful for those challenges that I was present with, the tears I cried, the laughs I shared, and all those who I experienced them with. I’ve moved out of one place, where I had two sweet roommates, and will soon be moving into another with four others. I finished my junior year of college and closed a season in my life. I had everything figured out, and then suddenly, it all slipped through my fingertips. Yeah, that’s not happening this time around.

I’ve created a visual moodboard to help convey my feelings and aspirations going into the new month, with June’s theme being a “PEACHY KEEN” type of vibe. Some of the things on here are quotes I picked up from Pinterest that I like (ITALY, SUMMER 1985 is such a #mood), some are things I want to manifest into my life (a.k.a. my girl CHANEL, because a girl can dream, right?), and others are just various outfits I’d like to try out and experiment with this month.

Peaches and cream, beaches and dreams  — I’m excited to embrace the absolute dreamsicle that is June. What are some things you hope to achieve throughout the next few weeks? Drop ’em down below and let’s encourage each other!
