Can you believe that I’m already writing up my March favorites? I am so not ready for the craziness that April is going to bring my way. From my 21st birthday, to the closing of yet another school year, and solidifying my summer plans, I’ve got a thousand and one things to do. Can I just stay in bed and watch Ru Paul’s Drag Race forever?
With a quarter of the year under my Gucci belt, I’ve decided to roundup a handful of some of my favorite things from March.
Keeping reading down below to see what made it into my March favorites this month!
The first thing is my beloved Navajo Cluster ring. If you know me, then you know my love language is absolutely turquoise and I have several others in my collection that I give love to, but this baby has barely left my finger since I got it. I’m planning a larger post soon dedicated to my rings, where I buy them, and everything else you need to know about starting your turquoise collection, but for now check out my sweet friend’s company, August West, and let her help you find the ring of your dreams!
Also, mini shoutout to South of Indigo Photography for the AMAZING shot featured in the image above. I had an absolute blast running around Mississippi with her a few weeks ago and her photos are GORGEOUS!! If you follow me on Instagram then you’ve already seen some of them, but keep an eye out for more because I am OBSESSED!
Next up are my babies. My pride and joy. The loves of my life. My Golden Goose Deluxe Brand Superstar Sneakers that I had been DYING over for the last year, but just couldn’t allow myself to spend that much money on a pair of shoes. But, as I was searching around in early March, I noticed a pair on sale for $175 (!!!!!!!), and compared to the original cost of almost $500, I couldn’t help myself.
These shoes have been my favorite this past month. They’re so easy to slip on when I’m going to class, but can also be paired with an outfit with a more dressed-up vibe at night. The shoe’s insole is slightly lifted in the back, giving an appearance of a smaller foot. They do take a little breaking in, just as with any other shoe, but after a few wears you will never want to take them off. Mine are just the classic with gold detailing, but there’s so many styles and colors for you to choose from. I may or may not be plotting for my next pair already?
No matter the season, no matter the day, no matter my location — my lips are forever and ALWAYS chapped. I blame it on my bad habit of biting my lips and my skin’s overall sensitivity. Shoutout to my eczema! Love you, girlie! But, I can never seem to find something that provides long lasting relief. I’ve always been a religious Vaseline user, went through a Carmex phase, and even tried out the infamous LipSense products that claimed to exfoliate and renew your lips, but at the end of the day, my lips were still miserable.
That is, until I discovered the Bite Agave Lip Mask and my world was forever changed. I have never, ever in my entire life managed to use a tube of chapstick from start to finish without losing it, but this stuff… I’m on my THIRD TUBE and haven’t lost a single one because it’s a literal lifesaver. The mask is put on every night before bed so that my lips are super soft in the morning. I’ve even started using the Agave Lip Balm that comes in a stick form to use for an everyday basis and saving the mask for just at night.
Finally, making her grand entrance to my blog is the infamous Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb, a staple on many’s favorites list, and a newfound obsession of mine. My roommate absolutely stans Fenty Beauty and refused to read my other posts because I wasn’t showing respect. Well, baby girl, here it is in full glory. The Gloss Bomb is a MUST-HAVE product in your purse, car, office desk drawer — ANYWHERE. The universally flattering shade features the prettiest amount of shimmer. It’s perfect to use on it’s own, but it’s also perfect for an added glam to any date night look. Also, the smell? It’s heaven.
Finally, my last favorite of the month is from Spotify and Nina Nesbitt, Charlotte Lawrence, and Sasha Sloan. I love when my favorite bands release a session through Spotify. Especially when they involve covers of some of my other favorite artists, but this one takes the cake right now. I love Nina Nesbitt (like, super fan and own her 2012 album) and was excited for new music. The group’s cover of Girls Just Wanna Have fun ranks high on my list.
What products have you been loving this past month?
Let me know down below because I love, love, love checking out new things and hearing from y’all! Also, check out my January Favorites while you’re here. Happy spring, ladies and gents!
